Coffee for the caffeinated, chaotic, and confrontational.

My Role: Brand concept development, voice and tone guide, tagline creation, packaging lines, and ad campaign copy.

The Brief: A coffee brand for the unapologetically unhinged. Punchy packaging, zero chill energy, a voice that's more frontman of a punk band than barista. Bad Bean rejects the "cozy morning" aesthetic entirely in favor of weaponized sarcasm and a dash of existential dread.

I built a voice rooted in caffeinated defiance, designed for the overthinkers, the night owls, and the "just one more cup" liars.

Brand Voice Principles: Sarcastic, caffeinated chaos. / Stronger than your anxiety meds (almost). / Anti-deep-breath-inhale-the-aroma nonsense. / Made for the liars who say "just one cup."

Taglines & Packaging: Stronger than your will to stay in bed. / Decaf? Never heard of her. / Because mornings are a scam. / Our espresso hits harder than your 9 AM existential crisis. / Made for the overthinkers, night owls, and "just one more cup" liars.

The Impact: Bad Bean's voice is its biggest weapon, cutting through a saturated market with humor, self-awareness, and a complete rejection of coffee culture clichés. The packaging alone becomes a reason to buy and a reason to tell someone else about it.
